Transformers action figures is a series of toys featuring the characters from the fictional universe The Transformers. The story follows the fight between the Autobots (sentient robots) and their enemies, Decepticons (also the villains in the story). The transformers have the ability to “transform” intro cars, aircraft or animal.

Transformers action figure toys were originally manufactured by the Japanese company Takara Tomy, but in 1984 Hasbro bought the distribution rights for North America. The Transformers action figures became widely popular in America after the launch of the movie with the same name, and continue to have success today, being the most sought after toys on the market.
